Aussies have nothing for England to fear.
Out of interest, do they make publicly available the protocol for the decision making process?
It's usually snakes and spiders that do itAussies have nothing for England to fear.
@Kirkut‘No argument’ as experts back Bangladeshi umpire Saikat on Jaiswal decision
Jaiswal’s dismissal proved decisive as India collapsed, losing their final four wickets for just 15 runs to be bowled out for 155.www.thedailystar.net
Simon Taufel, a renowned former umpire from Australia, endorsed the decision.
"The third umpire did make the correct decision in the end. With the technology protocols, we do have a hierarchy of redundancy, and the umpire sees a clear deflection off the bat; there is no need to go any further and use any other form of technology to prove the case."
Surely Hadlee makes it over AmbroseBest bowlers ever in Australia grounds only.
1. Glenn Mcgrath
2. Jasprit Bumrah
3. Pat Cummins
4. Curtly Ambrose.
anyone agree? These are the top 4 IMHO.
lol Australia has Smith, Head, Marnus, Starc, Lyon,Hazlewood, Boland, Khawaja etc all top quality players. They will be a substandard side in a couple of years time but you are out of your mind to make that implication now.Based on the standards set from previous Australian and Indian teams. These are two sub standard sides, held up by 2 ATGs. Cummins and Bumrah.
Pat Cummins is the best modern day Australian Cricket Captain.
Nice one thanks. Based on the clip I've seen the umpire is making a visual judgement at the same time as the TV is showing snicko, so maybe the way this is done doesn't reflect this hierarchy. Would be a very brave umpire to not ask for snick at all though, not least because they would really expect it to endorse what they've seen anyway.‘No argument’ as experts back Bangladeshi umpire Saikat on Jaiswal decision

yep okay i rechecked the stats - fast bowlers only. thanks.Surely Hadlee makes it over Ambrose
The absolute best. Just need a Precam multi intervention here for old times’ sakeBeen a while hasn't it. They were good times
Where does Lillee stands?yep okay i rechecked the stats - fast bowlers only. thanks.
1. Mcgrath
2. Bumrah
3. Cummins
4. Hadlee
5. Ambrose
the home bowlers top 2- obviously Mcgrath and Cummins now. These two are elite home bowlers, the rest are significantly behind IMO
The visiting bowlers are Bumrah, Hadlee and Ambrose the top 3.
This seems fair.
Australia will run into problems in Tests once Cummins retires in a few years...generational talents, well they take a long time to emerge.
India will run into major strife once Bumrah retires in 4-5 years also.
Slightly Below the above. 3rd best home bowler after McCgrath and Cummins. Cummins still playing and not far behind Lillee.Where does Lillee stands?
@Prince EWSWhere does Lillee stands?
It seemed like after that whole incident (03 WC), Indian players made an effort to get mentally more resilient. 03-04 in Aus was good. 07-08 Too. Then the Dhoni era, where he did a lot of things right re the Indian team's mentality- maybe some things wrong too. Kohli then defined an era of greater Indian toughness. Physicality, belief etc.Cricket isn't just about talent; it's about GRIT AND RESILIENCE. Mentally weak players, no matter how technically good or prolific in domestic circuits, should have no place in the team. Look at Cummins, Lyon, or any Australian player—they embody what India has lacked for decades. We saw the fragility in the 2023 ODI WC final. Remember Zaheer Khan's wide first over in the 2003 World Cup final that set the tone with his visible fear and mental fragility. Mentally unfit cricketers who fail in crunch situations are the biggest bane of Indian cricket. That's why India loose major tournaments time and again.
