I think I'm cursed. Literally every big Australian moment since the 2015 World Cup has come when I've not been able to watch.

Meanwhile whenever I've watched it's either been a monster win or a big bottle job.

I’m sorry but the universe has not given you that much power.

And if it has, please let me know because im a gambling addict and I’d like to make some money.

I'll never forget I was literally walking out the door to work and had just stopped looking at the TV when Harris nutted Cook.

Still angers me

Silver Silva

International Regular
Reddy with five overs and a duck. Glad to see the six bowler strategy working out. Reddy has truly outperformed in this series and has done exceptionally well with the bat - so this is not a knock on him. He has come in under pressure situations and totally outperformed the top order and done everything asked of him and more - totally grabbed his opportunity with both hands.

But he is not an international quality bowler and he averages 23 in FC cricket with the bat. Like what the **** is the thought process that you think a guy averaging 23 in FC cricket will consistently outperform dudes averaging 50+? Because if you truly think that, get rid of the Ranji trophy and call it a day because it’s clearly completely useless as a competition.
I will try :

1.Age , he's only 21 years old even if he was scoring runs at domestic level that wouldn't be the reason you pick such a young player it's more about attitude and talent because the productivity will only improve with age.

2.Skillset
It's no secret , the one area India have lacked in recently is seamer all rounders , and they probably see NKR as someone they can invest in.

Cricketer Of The Year
He's been utterly wasted batting at 8 and sometimes ridiculously at 9. He should be looked at as a batsman who bowls a bit as a bonus. Instead the team management is trying to use him as an Ashwin replacement.
In hindsight he probably should have come up the order ahead of akash as a night watch.

Needs to somehow add 10kph to be a serious seaming all rounder.

And secondly, Test cricket shouldn’t be the place where you “develop” a player. That is a very bad sign for your domestic competition. If that’s what you need to do, then you should just scrap your FC competition.
