Hard to put my finger on how Khawaja became so much better though.

Konstas will certainly get an enormous test in the SL series, both matches being at Galle. Unfortunate that with the BBL on they couldn't just get him to practice in the nets on a scalped pitch against Kuhnemann and Warren.
Yeah I don't think I would pick him for SL especially given that the wickets will likely be total lotteries. Can't really drop him now unless he completely belly flops in the next three innings though.

Beta male Tim Lane trying to get Sunny to admit Kohli was at fault

Alpha male Sunny: Looks like both of them will be called to the match referee

Whatever it takes!!!
The pitch is expected to quicken up though, so gotta bowl well in the next two sessions, else we can wave this game goodbye on day 1 itself.

Yeah no WTC final as well, so it will make sense for Rohit and Virat to pull the plug after this series. Very reminiscent of 2011 when Dravid and Laxman did the same.

Tendulkar should never apologize for saving a brown man wrongly accused of racism by crickets nazi nation. He should get a commemorative plaque at Sydney for it if anything.
I know this is a joke, but it's probably literally this.
Tendulkar wasn't born yesterday, he probably saw how the Aussies were since his debut in 1989. For them to get on their high horses and pretend to give a **** about racism was...funny

We ended racism in 2007

Very fine session that.

Shows the power of having an attacker up top, ever since the early 90's Australia's batting has looked best when there's an intent opener in the team.

one good thing likely to come out of this is rohit retiring after next test
Weren't the core 4 told before the tour that unless they qualified for the WTC final they were all getting the boot? Ashwin very sensibly deciding to take a dignified exit while the scoreline was still 1-1.
