**Official** 4th Test at Melbourne, 26-30 Dec 2024

I've got a bad feeling about this test. Head potentially unfit, instability with switching openers, Mitch 'definitely fit to bowl' Marsh taking up space, Khawaja not looking like doing much. India's won the last two times at Melbourne as well and the pitch generally favours their bowling style.
Oz have dominated basically every session in this series since Perth. You're nuts if you think India have a chance in this Test.

Starc, Cummins and Boland will take poles, our bowlers will bowl Marsh and Khawaja back into form and Kohli will nick off on a cover drive. It's inevitable

Mate, my post is a statement of fact. And Head is apparently fit and will be playing tomm. So that's that for us this series. :(
Ha we'll see. The batting of both teams making fans feel depressed about their side's chances. I see silentstriker proclaiming his faith in the bookies. Let's see - though he was right leading into Adelaide.

Ignoring the Gambhiring on both sides, objectively, Australia are paying 1.60 and India are paying 2.85.

So roughly 62% chance for an Australia win, and 35% chance of an India win.

That sounds about right -I can’t decide which is the better bet so it seems reasonable.
India as I have virtually no faith in Australian batting

Having said that, I would not be surprised if Konstas did well

I don't see how you can faith in either side's batting to be honest. The toss could be vital in this game given how dramatically different the weather on Day 1 will be compared to the rest of the game.

The bookies are almost always right. They can seldom afford to go wrong since there is big money involved.

Nah that's stupid as hell.

Location, location, location. Where a team usually performs well, they will likely continue to do so.

I think India will be pretty alive for this test. Indian support will be huge, they like the conditions
