Who do you rate from here? I see 3 or 4 BAF batsmen that's still abit low but yah, not worried on that for seamers, spinners looks like a good mix.U16 week finished yesterday.

I think that it is showing good natural progression.Who do you rate from here? I see 3 or 4 BAF batsmen that's still abit low but yah, not worried on that for seamers, spinners looks like a good mix.
Thanks mind telling me which are wp players we need the talent coming with what seems like zero budget to recruit decent players.I think that it is showing good natural progression.
Jason Rowles is the best 2008-born batsman in the country and through reputation Vihan Pretorius (Lhuandre's bro) & Nkosana Sibiya are the next best. They are both playing U19 week along with Ombesa Matsha who at U15 was shining for St Stithians First XI. Connor Parry wasn't in the Grey PE First XI yet but does seem highly regarded that Kookaburra social media brought attention to his U15A performances & I liked what I saw here. FG Botha is doing well for St Andrews in Bloem & dominated Gold Group. Finisher type to watch maybe Righardt Joubert. Zuko Pontshi is still U15 as well but didn't have a good week but is selected for CSA Inv team.
I expected a bit more from ARs (particularly seam) but I saw Daniel Hattingh a few months ago and was raving about his leg-spin + he is good in the middle order . Waco Bassick (Short skiddy type & from Philander's area) is at U19 week & I reckon even though his batting didn't dominate the WP U16 captain in Michail Tarentaal (tall Holder type) are the best seamer ARs although Taine Havemann is also highly rated in Durban & one to watch.
Best seamers (not necessarily by results because it's also tough bowling full spells at high intensity every day so quicks are looked after).
Right-arm
Kyle Butler
Sechaba Gude
Trent Hardie
Armin Snyman
Jordan Damons
Left-arm
Michael Kruiskamp
Zian Labuschagne (U15 & didn't play U16 week but he is very impressive)
Spin is more difficult but they fact Tim Short is at U19 week & producing at First XI level he might just be ahead of the other finger spinners.
Pleasure pal. Does seem our only way but luckily we do produce good players. Thanks mind telling me which are wp players we need the talent coming with what seems like zero budget to recruit decent players.
Yeah was going to say lacking fast bowlers, Michael cohen was the last fastie we were excited about now he playing in no man's leagues in uk. Burger did vindicate being bought though that was reason cohen said he was leaving.Pleasure pal. Does seem our only way but luckily we do produce good players.

That's right.Assume Caiden is brother of Caleb ?
Cohen was a weird one. Someone asked me the other day where he was.Yeah was going to say lacking fast bowlers, Michael cohen was the last fastie we were excited about now he playing in no man's leagues in uk. Burger did vindicate being bought though that was reason cohen said he was leaving.
I am sure the school boys are relieved they don't have to face Kwena.Been a very low scoring week. Conditions haven't been easy. Some injuries to exciting players to like JJ Basson (Lions), Waco Bassick (WP). Lhuandre Pretorius & Kwena Maphaka skipping because professional players.
CSA Invitational Team and Easterns went unbeaten in Gold Groups. They face SWD and NW for possible promotion.
Semi-Finals tomorrow. Top 2 games.
Next 2 games play off for 5/6
Going to be tough to pick batsman for SA Schools & Colts team if no one steps up in the next 2 days. Makes Cubs Week even more important in early Jan for England U19 tour selection.

I saw Herschelle Gibbs commenting on the fact that someone said imagine facing a 150kph bowler whilst at school but he said he faced at least 4 of themI am sure the school boys are relieved they don't have to face Kwena.
