there are so many great ashwin moments in test cricket but my favourite was when he told reporters in a press conference that there was nothing wrong with the chennai pitch mid game, then went out to bat the next day and scored a 100 on a turning track. this was the eng series

then a few days later he put a whinging reporter in his place by yelling facts and logic at him. that was a beautiful rant

Great bowler, pivotal to India's rise over the last decade. Not the ideal time considering the two venues coming up, but he seems to have enjoyed a good working relationship with his peers so doubt there's disgruntlement there. Probably couldn't stand Gambhir and who can blame him for that?
