How long is play being extended to this evening? Would probably declare 45 minutes before stumps to have a crack at England while they're exhausted from all the leather chasing.

He averaged 55+ till 2018/19.

That's an idiotic take tbh. Williamson is a massive homebasher. He could be rated ahead of Kohli (tbf, I myself think it would be strange to rate someone who averages 47/48 ahead of someone averaging 55), but saying Kohli will end up being closer to Latham than Williamson is stupid. Sorry.
So he’s been absolutely shithouse for 5 years now?

I can forgive one or two years at the end of someone’s career when it comes to rating a player if their form has dropped away. But 5 years in what should’ve been his prime, nah. That counts and should be held against him.

It's a bit piss poor that they're not taking the new ball. It's the last test, why leave anything in the tank?
You can’t try to argue for the “loss of intensity/lack of edge with series won” line when you don’t even make any effort to do the right things in relation to decision making

Technically nothing in it for England - already won the series, can't make the WTC Final. It's a dead rubber and they've played it that way haven't they.

Shows up their protestations about how they’re on a mission to entertain though. The contempt they show to those who pay good money (and even those less so through the TV subscriptions that pay their wages) to go and watch them often belies that. The impression is given that they play for their own enjoyment rather than that of others.

Then again the New Zealand fans seem to be enjoying it.
