If Root scores more than him he'll become the ICC World Number 1 Year End Batsman for the very first time in his career.

Smith has done it 3 times,Kohli & Williamson have all been awarded that 2 times.

Apart from a maiden Ashes century in Australia it's Root's only hole in his resume.

With two days left after today we shouldn't be declaring until some time tomorrow providing we don't get bowled out before then.

Conditions are still good for batting so we may as well keep piling on the runs and get the lead over 600 with Williamson getting a double or triple ton.
