Anyone watching? @chris.hinton I believe you are a fan?
Kicks off today with the opening night, Luke Humphries up against Thibault Tricole or Aussie Joe Comito who open the show in about an hour’s time. Been a lot of surprises this year, but the two Lukes, Humphries and Littler are the overwhelming favourites

Some players of interest for various nations of this forum:
Australia: Damon Heta, Gordon Mathers, Joe Comito
New Zealand: Ben Robb
South Africa: Cameron Carolissen
India: Nitin Kumar
Not technically part of the West Indies but there is a Bahamian player at this for the first time in Rashad Sweeting

And that's a wrap for night one, Humphries far from his best, but far too good for Tricole who didn't play well all night despite winning the opening game. Impressive performances from Jermaine Wattimena and Keane Barry, both have a very solid chance in round 2 against seeded players who aren't exactly on good form this year

Bit of a shame Beau Greaves still has not given the men's world's a go, but tbf only 20 and she is winning very easy money winning the ladies world's.

Beau is doing Q-School in January, Whether she will get through or want to get through that is a different question. But £25,000 is nice money when you are a big fish in a small pond

Well we might not be beating New Zealand on the cricket field, but at least we can beat you at darts still! Ben Robb runs into a Connor Scutt hurricane, best performance of the tournament yet
