**Official** 3rd Test @Brisbane (Ewwwww), 14th-18th December

Qlder

International Regular
Head with 300 runs @ 100.00 in the series. And I'm one of the few who picked him to top the runs from both sides in prediction thread 😀

I was one of those people who actually loved watching him bat at his peak; but this innings has been incredibly painful.
It’s been incredibly punishing but this is possibly a series defining partnership. They’re putting a lot of miles in the bowlers legs here in typically **** house Brisbane conditions and setting up a potentially big first innings

Yeah it's been rough viewing but in its own way it's been really impressive, more as a demonstration of willpower than anything else (cf the way Marnus got out, frustrated into submission)

Maybe he has but I think India haven't got it right. Either too wide or not short enough when they've got the line correct.
Yeah that’s true to an extent but even those balls at thigh/ hip high he’s working through wide mid on/ mid wicket he was just bunting back last summer because he was so closed off

Tbh that could well have happened to him as well if he’d batted any length of time with Marnus. Head just allows him to bat in his bubble and not gaf about the rate of scoring
