Glad that the Pink ball test is over. This pink ball skids and comes on quicker and bounces more too compared to a red ball. Indian batters were late to deliveries and couldn't adjust to the pink ball's extra bounce or movement either.

Now that we move back to red ball, I am expecting a very competitive 3rd test with Aus back in form.

Yeah glad it's done and dusted. I've always called the pink ball test Micky Mouse and thoughts on that as time goes on haven't wavered.

Well you’d mainly like a Pink Ball test if you’re Australian. Most of them have been played here and we have a 12-1 record. India is the only other team with a net positive record at 3-2. There’s never been a draw in a day/nighter.

I think it's good. Excellent spectacle, even if it last 3 days. I've barely watched cricket the past few years, and I was glued in.

Wouldn't call it mickey mouse necessarily. It's just that Australia are far better with it, which is partly due to experience. And it's tailor made for someone like Starc who is gun with it, while in the next match he might look somewhat pedestrian after his initial spell.

I think it's fine to not be a fan of day/night Tests so long as you never complain about bad light again.
Won't be complaining about the lights going out though, that was comedy in itself. Next time they might not come back on so quickly.

that was dreadful from india. 10 wicket loss. Huge decline from 2017. No good technique batters in Tests e.g. Pujara.

Is kuldeep still active? He was a big factor in that 2017 with the wrist spin bowling. I see- he is chronically injured. he is 29 now, most likely past his peak anyway.
We have upcoming batters in domestic cricket who have good technique but as i have said rohit and kohli are problem once they retire everything would be alright

Having just read what Siraj had to say, I have no problems believing he is absolutely speaking the truth about what happened when Head was dismissed. Head was definitely lying when he said all he said was well bowled.

That said, Siraj did point to the pavilion and I have no qualms with a batsman coming back with some words to that gesture, any time anywhere and for any score. Send offs are the second most cowardly thing to do (first being throwing at the batsmen which Aussies specialize in) and needs to be nipped out of the game for good, along with the first.

The worry for Aus is this kind of stuff does fire India up. We will have to wait and see but I wont be surprised if we see us playing far better from now this series.
You're right. Throwing at the batsman like India regularly threaten to do/do is a cowardly act. When you place it together with their over the top celebrations upon getting out a batsman who almost scored as many as their whole team, and the running down the wicket without even looking at the umpire to celebrate an LBW that isn't out, we really should be putting them on the next plane home.

Not much for Australia to get excited about

They are one all at home against a team with so many players passed their best/ not performing. Obviously it was an impressive comeback after last week

India cannot bat for 50 overs against anyone. It's crazy. Need wholesale changes.
This is crazy talk. Jaiswal, Rahul, Gill, Pant, Reddy and Bumrah aren't getting dropped. Then we have Kohli just hit a hundred, Siraj has done well and Sharma is the captain. So that leaves 2 spots of Rana and Ashwin up for change.
