**Official** 2nd Test @Adelaide, 6th-10th December

I'm surprised Adelaide matches get bigger crowds than Perth, even though it's the smaller city. Optus Stadium attendance topped up at around 32k while Adelaide Oval is at 50k.
Adelaide has always had great atmosphere at cricket, it really was a great day out when I lived there. It's a fantastic ground that brings Adelaide to life (like the F1 used too before Melbourne stole it and made Aussie F1 boring)

Don't expect them to go out and belt Bumrah but if they're not going to score here then this is pointless

Interesting. Could've been a lot worse for India if the tail got going. India still in it. Few guys have got to dig in though.

Australia a bit wild and woolly towards the end, losing 5/57 in around 11 Overs. Thought there was a 200-250 run lead there for the taking.

I guess they presume the pink new ball at night will do the trick which based on Oz's past record here seems a safe bet.

I mean the tail was never going to get going in those conditions. That's why it was so important that Head scored so many runs between overs 55 and 80.

Nah there was no chance the tail was surviving under lights with that amount of movement. This is why I thought they would get to 8pm and either declare or get bowled out.

Think I'd have liked another 20 runs/4-5 overs, but 157 runs is still pretty imposing. Not match-winning, but imposing.

Siiraj doing a good job of cleaning up the Aussie tail, there could be some fireworks if he comes in as a nightwatchman later on tonight though.

WACA capacity used to be half that. Adelaide just has a much stronger tradition of attending Test cricket and a lot of people come from interstate these days
Also easier to make your way down to the ground on your way back from the beach or the shops when it’s a day night game

Isa guha saying a steer from a half volley through backward point is “an amazing shot.” Something of a scalding hot take tbh

Is Jaiswal the new Tendulkar or Kohli? It sounded like he had scored the winning runs when he hit a boundary.

The Indian supporters come to life when they are batting, didn't hear much from them when they were bowling.

He’s an exciting young player tbf. It’s been so long since we’ve had one that I’ve kind of forgotten what it’s like

Cummins is bowling a really good length so far. Looks likely
