**Official** 2nd Test @Adelaide, 6th-10th December

Whatever it takes!!!
@Spark - the bowling could have been better but I am talking about the body language after that drop. You could literally shoulders going down and people just losing their minds a little bit. Good on Marnus and McSweeney to take advantage of a wilting side like that with the mindgames etc.

But for some reason, the first sessions can be hard to play in Adelaide and if India dont produce their best tomorrow in the first session, this is gonna be 2011-12 levels of bad, which, tbf, almost all of us expected at the beginning of the series. I hope this does not go down like the England tour of India when they pulled a win out of their backside the first game and then we just wore them out throughout the series.

lol they gave Ashwin just one out of 33 freaking overs? Lights be damned, were the alternatives to him that much more appealing? So bad. I see a big Smith ton coming up and then Head trolling us at some point too.

Although it worked in the first test, India's selection is absurd. Harshit and NKR are rookies, can't expect much from them.
Siraj is way too hot and cold, Akashdeep is far better than him and should have played before Siraj

Why is Akash Deep so loved by Indian fans? Siraj is a proven test bowler in Australia while Deep has only 10 wkts from the 5 Tests he's played. Weird!

He bowls full length which could have been useful on this pitch and also bowls well to left handers whom have been India's kryptonite.should have repalced rana who is spraying all over not siraj

All those tests are played in India. Siraj has 19 wickets in 14 tests in India averaging 37, that is ridiculously bad.
Siraj in SENA conditions is hot and cold
Akashdeep has a more consistent line and length and doesn't have a tendency to be wayward like Siraj.
Playing Harshit is a massive gamble, Akashdeep is better than him as a bowler.

Deep has a decent ceiling and should've been in for Rana, not Siraj. It's absurd tactics tbh. You groom a guy like Akash Deep with one eye on a tour like this but then forget he exists because some other rookie caught your eye in the nets. There's no reason to it, just impulsive and unprofessional player (mis)management

Yeah the faith they are showing in Rana is odd. Akashdeep should have been given a go with the pink ball.

Lol, India won the 1st Test in Perth by a whopping 295 runs. They then made 3 changes with Gill, Sharma and Ashwin coming in. Now people demand it should have been 4 changes with Deep instead of Rana or Siraj.

Most teams that win by 295 runs don't have any changes...

Are you being naive on purpose? The guys coming in are established, for better or worse, and were only out due to injury, childbirth, and conditions.

It's like saying we shouldn't have dropped Natarajan, Saini and Mayank after the historic Gabba win.

Very bad day from Indian POV . Need a very good first session tomorrow otherwise game is done .
You often see bowling teams bounce back after a bad session with the ball. They would have had a chat about it last night.

Obviously I am hoping none of the above is true.

Rohit comes across as a bloke who would prefer heading straight on to KFC over post play brain storming sessions after a tough day like that tbh. Infact he'd probably do that in most regular days and he would certainly get the backing of Rishab and Safraz on that decision

I think it'd be up to Bumrah again. Tomorrow is a good day to bat but even on good days, Bumrah is a handful. I hear some chatter about a possible declaration on the 3rd session and that's crazy talk for me. Firstly you can't totally rule out the possibility of them collapsing in a heap in the first session but if they get to bat well, surely they should look to bat big and grind India down. Its only the second day and a big score would do really well for this batting line up
