Flametree

International 12th Man
Might be equal 9th lowest score, but it's the second shortest innings ever... In the shortest (SA all out 30), Gilligan took 6-7 in 6.3 overs.

King Kane

International Regular
That was absolute carnage, 7 for 13 for Jansen, he was shooting fish in a barrel in that innings.

Must be one of the shortest Test innings in terms of balls bowled!
The second shortest test innings of all time apparently and it's the lowest test total for Sri Lanka.

*Checks score at 3/9*
'That's not too good a start, reminds me of us at Perth'
*Does something else for 57 minutes*
'Wonder where they're at?'
*Checks score again*
'Oh, innings over'

Am I right in thinking Lawson has the cheapest 7-for in history? Where does Jansen's rank?
Lohmann once took 8/7, though those early SA 'tests' are dubious.

Edit, and more importantly, Lawson only took six in the innings you're thinking of. Briggs has 8/11, and Harmison 7/12.

SL remain consistently the worst touring side in world cricket. It’s in their cricketing DNA and always has been. Would prefer Armenia tour here for a test series than them.
