Well I would have liked a bit more time spent on the bat-pad aspect of that to just be crystal clear on it

Whatever it takes!!!
Very interesting session so far. I think the commentators said something about 14 plays and misses or whatever but I hardly counted 2 or 3 from Rahul, 3 or 4 from DDP and maybe 1 from Jaiswal. I honestly think its good that we are showing we are willing to dig in. I really dont think this side has it in them to even a win a game here but what I really want to see is if they can bring in some of that fighting mongrel from the Shaz-Virat era. Quite a number of players are still the same folks but do they still have the same fight and energy left in them? Its been good signs so far on that front.

Looks like a 300 par wicket. So we are behind the eight ball already but its not been as bad as I thought it would be. Jaiswal would learn that playing on the up is something better received for the back end of the series at Melbourne and Sydney. DDP tried hard and maybe was too defensive in his mind, but again, something he can work on. He is not a first choice player anyways and is only playing due to players missing. Virat could have played the ball he got better but it was also perhaps one of the 3 best deliveries of the session, soz.

I guess my expectations are so low that this does not seem a disaster, lol.

And there is a clear gap between bat and ball there. Didn't take the Aussies long to cheat there, did it?

Its funny they need to cheat to beat even this lot. lol.
