Since 1st Jan 2020 , Kohli averages 31.23 from 35 tests

For those with more than 500 test runs in that time frame Kamindu Mendis has (by far) the highest average, while Kohli has the 65th (out of 103 players).

Even in his short stint the comms were hyping up Kohli to an absurd degree. It's not 2019, his record this decade has been very ordinary.

And just now Hayden is praising Kohli's new style as if his lame dismissal was a good sign for him.
