WWE is scripted. TBH the only thing that should matter is who drew more money.

Hulk Hogan
Stone Cold Steve Austin
The Rock

The three biggest draws of modern day wrestling

that's like saying the top three films of all time are

Avatar
Avengers: Endgame
Avatar: The Way of the Water

doesn't really make sense and it's a soulless answer, there is a high level of skill and competency involved in making match or story good, so they should be rated on their body of work tbh

I agree Duncan was better. But you’ll find a majority of people will rate Kobe higher. Exactly like Prost and Senna.

And ofc there’s the whole dying thing that makes the analogy work too.
I find Kobe to be egregiously over rated great in basketball. Horribly inefficient and Shaq deserved the majority of the credit for their early success.

The highest grossing films are those three while best three movies vary from person to person.

In wrestling, the three biggest draws are Hogan, Austin and Rock.

The best wrestler? Some are good in ring(Bret, Shawn ). Some are good on the mic(Piper, Austin, Rock). Some have freakish strength(Lesnar, Goldberg). Then you have someone like Hogan who was the face of 1980s wrestling and started the second boom with a leg drop.

Yeah, the biggest draws are more equivalent to the highest grossing films and the best wrestler discussion is more subjective

But yeah they all exceed in different ways, personally I think Hogan was just someone who was willing to do A LOT of Roids to get a Superman physique, was a decent speaker and happened to be around to represent the 80s Americana spirit at the best moment possible, when the WWF decided to go national and destroy the territorial division, but I also think his body of work is kind of lame to be honest, his stories for most of his career have no moral depth or shock factors and his matches are very lame and repetitive, I think he is in the chat for the biggest star of wrestling but not really in the chat with the Flairs and the Harts when it comes to wrestling itself.

Hogan for me

But his impact on wrestling is simply undeniable
