Definitely Walsh. I think Roberts is a little overrated due to him starting of the pace dynasty.

At one time I thought of Roberts as better but not now. He’s got the longevity, a better peak. And a more balanced record.

I also quite like how he came very much into his own as a bowler in his mid to late 30’s once Ambrose’s penetration began to fade.

I think if I was setting an ATG boundary for pace bowlers, Roberts would straddle the line, with Anderson and Walsh above him.

Sorry but anyone that actually saw Andy Roberts bowl would never put Courtney Walsh ahead of him. This vote looks purely stats based on longevity (Anderson fans will be happy)

As I said, Walsh not only has the longevity, but a more balanced record and a better peak.

Longevity is in Walsh's favour and Roberts might also have benefitted from bowling to batsmen with less protective gear when cricket was behind the times, but I'm not necessarily sure Walsh has a more balanced record. Roberts was successful in Australia, Asia and England.

You have got to be kidding me. Bowlers now rated down because batsmen didn't have the same protective gear, really? So Viv Richards who used to hook and pull Lillee and Thomson short balls for fun wearing only a cap should be made God of any batting poll 😆

Walsh was successful in even more places, Roberts was relatively poor at home, and struggled against Pakistan. I could go through and checklist to prove my point but I won’t bother.
