Fantastic to get another win yesterday, just a good professional performance with bat and with ball

Vic V WA starting now, just hoping the shitty Melbourne climate plays ball

Well it has for long enough for Josh Brown to get out at least.

Honestly not sure why Victoria bothered to sign him, I know he moved over to the Renegades for the BBL, but realistically was never going to be considered against the red ball, and honestly even this 50 over stuff is a bridge too far if he continues to bat like this. Also being the wrong side of 30 he isn't especially likely to improve

Would have rather seen someone like young Dixon (was in the squad but not picked in the XI) than him honestly

Bancroft having the gloves for this game is pretty dire as well

Brown is living off that 1 BBL innings. It was not a good decision to sign him, and promise him a guaranteed spot for x games (which is what I assume must have happened). They even pushed Tom Rogers who was coming into his own as an opening bat last year down the order to accommodate him.

Yeah it looks pretty clear to me it was a decision made to incentivise him to move down for the BBL, but it (predictably really) is just not working at all

the **** is duckworth lewis doing in this game. Vics made 132 with the reduced overs but WA somehow only need 124 in the same number of overs despite knowing the innings duration from the start

I assume it has something to do with Vics losing 2 early wickets before the rain but that makes absolutely no sense

Probs because Victoria got a longer powerplay (although I haven't checked if that's true).

Does Liam Scott have a niggle or something? Otherwise, that's an interesting call to leave him out tbh
Not sure, haven't heard anything either way myself, wasn't even mentioned in the article on the SACA website which is definitely a little odd

Personally if available I would have had him in over either Pope or Conway, probably the latter. Although tbf both have bowled well recently, I would still have rathered the extra batting Scott provides considering that top and middle order still looks somewhat shaky

Seems like a weird pitch for NSW to only play two specialist seamers on, especially since Hadley has 7 FC wickets @ 42. Probably a bit lucky Bird has managed to run through them by himself.
Bloke seems to always take a bag against South Australia. Bastard.

Little surprised Hadley was even even in the XI to begin with, got picked over Nisbet again which seems a little odd to me

Nisbet is the future of Australian cricket. Who the **** is Hadley? No one with a name like that could be a good seam bowler
