Rohit and Gill wickets were poor but really there's not much Kohli could have done differently there. It's just turned and bounced perfectly

No, he's not. He's an amazing white ball batter but a pretty average test opener
He was arguably the best test opener in the world along with usman and dimuth 12 months ago LOL.

Just for reference, up to the recent bazball tour where rohit's form started to wain, he had 2200 runs @51 opening. In that period averaged 58 in india on some absolutely horrid pitches where noene else in the top 5 could buy a run and averaged 45 in england over 7 test's. Also passable in Australia and dominated in the windies. Only place he struggled was NZ.

Only for 2-3 years he was good. Outside of that he has been mediocre.

Now he has lost his eye. Literally late on every 2nd or 3rd delivery.

Another walking wicket Kohli goes...
It's the mindset that bothers me. He's just having a yahoo over mid-wicket, no method at all

That's a shocker from Ajaz, we can't afford to throw away 4 byes with this meagre lead.

Now Pant reduces the lead further with a six.

Dunno, the best batsman in this test has been Will Young and he wasn't trying to bash anything
Yeah I thought he did terrifically to not feel forced to. For someone like Rohit, on the other hand, it was always going to be his strategy and IMO rightly.
