I'm sorry but that was disgusting. Rohit Sharma is one of the most talented players of his generation and is absolutely capable, as shown in quite a few innings, of scoring in tough conditions by batting normally. And he's decided to reduce himself to a tailend slogger. That is just reprehensible batting.

Whatever it takes!!!
Is there a reason why Dinesh Karthik insists on saying Murali Kartik's name in reverse? South Indian naming convention or just being different and annoying?
His name is Kartik. Murali is his father's name. Tamil folks usually dont have last names. So the initials, which is the first letter of the father's name, becomes either your first or last name depending on how you expand it in your passport.

He is saying that probably to ensure others dont call him Murali as that is not his name, its his father's name.

No, he's not. He's an amazing white ball batter but a pretty average test opener

Hard disagree. Bashing it has appeared to be effective on this wicket and moreover there is nothing more demotivating to a team defending a target than a quick 30.

Yeah it may be the right approach to go very attacking against an accurate spinner on this wicket, as the variable bounce will get you soon otherwise, but Henry was getting a little seam movement, nothing more.

Yesss Ajaz! Poor batting that, with a new ball it's that much more likely to skid on rather than turn - the straight delivery is the danger
