Gill is a sitting duck against SLA.

Keep him on strike against Ajaz and he WILL get out soon. No need to give him any singles against him.

He's been atrocious ever since the T20 WC. He's looked old and slow, reacting late to any movement. He is in his final 3-9 months as a test cricketer, as he's going to be ruthlessly found out in Australia as well as England if he makes it that far.
I'd be truly shocked if he made it as far as England. I would have thought him (and Kohli) are gone after the Australia series.

Blundell is in his own private hell right now.

I’ve kept in 37c heat I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

I've never seen a keeper be so inept at his job that his ineptness puts his physical safety at risk. That's also a drop.

To be fair a lot of keepers would be in trouble in these conditions, particularly if they’re from England or NZ.

Moss

International Captain
Tough gig alright keeping in these conditions (and batting too when you’re game isn’t exactly tailor made for it), but it’s becoming a desperate tour for Blundell. At the very least his contribution behind the stumps is important to NZ’s chances this test.

This series has been so weird because despite the bowlers regularly taking wickets and winning periods, the batsmen have still been able to consistently rotate the strike and score runs.

Kohli is a little younger and likes the bounce and so he might get a ton or so in one of the tests in Aus and secure his place for Eng.
