Whatever it takes!!!
Seems he is injured and explains why he is not playing this test and not selected for this series.
They have said its a chroic left groin injury. Both him and Riyan Parag are said to be trying to find some permanent solutions to their chronic issues. Shami is pretty much out as well, I guess. Unless they keep their options open of replacing players after the 2nd or 3rd test or so.Haha no Kuldeep is just bizarre. He has a fantastic record against Australia and he should do well in these conditions too.
Even if he's injured, not picking him in the squad is just ridiculous unless he's done his Achilles or something.
If it's just a squad for the first game or two that certainly makes more senseThey have said its a chroic left groin injury. Who cares, may as well save fans the aggravation of seeing him on drinks duty through the tour. But seriously, my gripe is, if this is a chronic injury and not a sudden breakdown, when was it first diagnosed and why wasn't it addressed well in advance of a hype tour? They have cited a groin injury as the reason why he hasn't been called up for the BGT but I'm not sure about the validity of the same. Is there an actually an injury or is it just an easy excuse to drop kuldeep?
Its not that hard to believe though. Parag played for us recently and he is now out with some chronic issue too. Mayank played and is now out. Maybe he played and aggravated something in Bengaluru.Who cares, may as well save fans the aggravation of seeing him on drinks duty through the tour. Oh I am fine with and understand that part. But I almost bet it wont be contested like this had Dravid been the coach. That's the toxicity I am talking about. You have seen how folks like sunilz would have been all over Virat's captaincy had this defeat happened under him, but Rohit and Dravid are generally considered more "likeable" so get a pass for the **** they do when its usually far worse than what Virat or Shastri/Gambhir do/did.Sporting teams can and do lie about injuries though, happens all the time. I don't think it's as severe in cricket as it is in some other sports though where "hamstring awareness" is now universally treated as just as often as not being code for "tested positive to cocaine" (and this isn't conspiracy theory, this has been outright admitted!)
Maybe he has some Trinidadian cousins or aunts? He can come play for the WI.....No Kuldeep is atrocious. He might as well apply for another country's visa at this point the way his career's been ragdolled.
Hah that would be awesome. Maybe he can do a number on our lot when we visit in the future.Maybe he has some Trinidadian cousins or aunts? He can come play for the WI.....
They’re not touring here are they?both could be out unless Aus beat SL 2-0
No, tour of SL. That's why Maxwell is playing red ball as he wants to play on that tourThey’re not touring here are they?
