I'm guessing they'll go with two quicks + Miraz and Taijul. They should really have picked Shoriful instead of Nahid, as I'm convinced he's our best bowler. But out of the three quicks available, I'd go Taskin and Hasan Mahmud. There's a need to expose Nahid to international cricket, but given he's gone at 5.5 an over and barely taken a wicket during almost every innings of his career, I don't trust him.

Bangladesh will be difficult to beat on home soil, they are not minnows any more, the Proteas batting has to score big or they will lose the series,

Shakib not coming back to BD?
They've named Hasan Murad as his replacement. I have no idea who this guy is but I want them to play Miraz as the all rounder coming in at number 7 and pick a batsman to replace Shakib in the middle order. Miraz, Taijul and Nayeem would be a strong spin attack. Nayeem is a guy who I think can develop into a test standard player and he's the only one who offers appreciable turn and bounce.

Don't know exactly what the Bangladesh team will look like going forward without Shakib, isn't the tail going to look very long now? Miraz is (or was?) an excellent #8, but they have had 3 genuine bunnies behind him of late, if Miraz moves up, who's going to be their #8? Yeah your #8 is primarily in the team for their bowling, but you need some level of batting pedigree from them

Yeah it's pretty grim when they play three quicks. 10 and 11 are pretty much the worst batsmen in the world and sometimes 9 is just as bad. When Taijul and Taskin play, they offer a bit more resilience but it's not great.

I'd prefer Miraz at 8 as well. Shakib will be a significant loss, unless Miraz is actually the real deal and not a statpadder racking up not ours. He averages nearly 40 over a decent stretch of matches but I don't trust him to handle serious batting responsibilities.

Whatever it takes!!!
Why? Think he has played a few good little innings.

Bangladesh is going to smash the south Africans this series imo. Saffers can't play spin.
Yeah.. they should just let Rishad, Miraz and Taijul rip against RSA. I know they have good seamers too now and they should play the 2 best of them. The guy who bowled quick and Taskin maybe?
