Didn’t go as he’d have liked but was 3rd highest run scorer in the series despite the inhumane conditions your despotic government inflicted on the visiting players. Outperformed Steve smith but then that’s just the norm these daysAnd went like a busted. As per
Yeah unsure of how many times this might’ve been the case. From the top of my head I came up with one. There can't be many times where the no.1 has been over 100 points ahead of no.2

Of current players he still has Smith (947), Kohli (937) and Labuschagne (937) to top.
There have also been 6 other players this century who have had a higher rating. (Ponting, Sangakkara, Kallis, de Villiers, Hayden and Yousuf)
Kind of devalues the rankings as a concept when a hack like Labuschagne manages to get that high a scoreYeah unsure of how many times this might’ve been the case. From the top of my head I came up with one.

When Bradman was up 961 points surely he had a 100+ lead over the next rival easily? There can't be many times where the no.1 has been over 100 points ahead of no.2

Nah. Headley was still a thing. When Bradman was up 961 points surely he had a 100+ lead over the next rival easily?
Anyway, nothing like a handy 262 hit on Pakistani soil to get your rating soaring from 899 points to 932 in a jiffy.
Chanderpaul says hiI'm more interested in has any bat ever been #1 when they've never scored a century in Australia. I'm thinking definitely not
Hanif must've batted on every day for about ten tests straight to get that peak of 819.Yeah unsure of how many times this might’ve been the case. From the top of my head I came up with one.
