He shouldn't be there but our bowlers are so injury prone he's snuck onto the tour, and then our all rounder has gone down injured again. But I think Woakes' batting is increasingly fading anyway.

Man stop overrating Shaheen/Naseem

Those guys have done nothing in test cricket against good sides. Like not one single 5-fer between the two of them against the top 5 teams (SENA as they don't play India) home/away.

I don't like those slicing square drives that everyone seems to play instead of a proper cut to short of a length balls outside off these days, but not like there's much of a choice with the forward trigger movement predominating.

Naseem is one of the most improved bowlers in the world imo and still very young

He is hopeless at decieving a batsman without swing. Very rigid bowler. You see the ball coming all the way with his action. He can't probe menacingly off a back of a length area like Robinson could because he doesn't hit the pitch hard enough and when he pitches the ball up without the swing he just travels because of the lack of pace and being easy to read.
