Only just watched the highlights now and looked like one hell of a game. The Pumas have been getting better and better since joining the comp just
over 10 years ago. Honestly it's not going to be that long before they can start winning the tournament.
They technically can win the last match by 19 points to win the comp, that won't happen, but amazing they've put themselves in with a chance.

imo they seem to have really improved in the last year or so.

Argentina would have been the last team that I would have referred to as liking ‘open play’. Before that they were just capable of grinding out wins. Interesting to see such an improvement since Cheika left.

Montoya getting into the refs ear early on really showed that they’d be doing their homework too

Incredible to wake up to Argentina having won - as others above have said, they've improved dramatically since they first came into the Championship. No doubt benefited by the majority of their players playing in the tough European competitions.

The All Blacks continue to get worse in my eyes - hanging onto a narrow win over the Wallabies shouldn't paper over the cracks. McKenzie is not up to international standard to drive a back-line I don't believe - he's your impact sub. I'd much rather throw a specialist (Plummer) into the role and build with him to the next WC. I really expected a mass clean-out and new faces in the team, but Razor has stuck with the majority of the same players under Foster which surprises me.

AFL allegedly paid Katy Perry $5 million to perform at the GF

That’s more than Rugby Australia is worth

Can't complain too much about that half, maybe that the ref hasn't gone to his pocket after many penalties inside NZ 22, but could say the same for wallabies near end of that half.

Good game overall, some life yet in the wallabies. If Jake Gordon knew how to fall on a ball it could of been a very interesting start.

Well, All Blacks doing All Blacks in 2nd half. Momentum has swung in their favour massively and don't see an x-factor that can get the wallabies back.

Still, I'm OK with the performance as a whole, had no ball this half and been solidish in defense. First half soft tries the killer. Will Jordan is so damn slippery

A little something from the Beeb

The Springboks also tested the big-game mentality of Stormers fly-half Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu. He showed his temperament and massive boot from the kicking tee against Australia and New Zealand before suffering a knee injury
I wonder how big the boot was.

Will be honest when I read and heard about the little Isabella story and watched the videos, it pulled the heart strings

Well done lads

Women's XV has started. Comfortable win for Eng over US but a big surprise with Ireland toppling NZ. Eng v NZ next Sunday.
Ireland have just pulled off a huge shock in turning over New Zealand. A couple of tries from line out trickery that bamboozled the Black Ferns. England and Canada thrashed the US and France in their opening games.

Sadly some very poor crowds in Vancouver.

Was it better for the Canada game?

Canada v England in the final match will probably turn out to be the decider. A shame the Canadians are not playing NZ this time, it might've left NZ going home winless.
