In hindsight, picking two specialist spinners + ravindra and phillips was probably overkill. Henry would have been nice to have and he's gonna give you what santner does with the bat more often than not.
Yes you still have to play to your strengths which in NZ's case is seam bowling ..

Also you want your spinner to work hard , to bowl a lot of overs under the belt ..

That's the way to have success at Galle , you have to just keep plugging away even when it's tough ..

Prabath Jayasuriya bowled 40 overs in the first innings ..It was ugly at times but with more time he found the right length to bowl and was much better on day 2 .

Yeah agreed. Having too many spin options can work against you, they similarly need to use Ajaz in long spells and get him properly into the groove.
