Early Amir would be a bloody result to say the least. He could make me wet myselfJust watching Hull for the first time. He has an action like Mohammad Amir, except with ganglier limbs.
He's probably shelled 2 digits just in Ashes tests alone.Probably ought to have that record by now tbh. I don't have the facts and figures in front of me but I'd be willing to bet he's shelled a two digit number over the years
Bowled well against the same (admittedly very undercooked!) opposition at Worcester for the Lions, maybe he’s one of those that looks better the higher the level he’s at? Or maybe it’s that he’s still in the embryonic stages of his pro career and the more he plays, the more his first-class record will revert to something more normal?3fer and counting for josh hull. Maybe vibes based selections are the way? Picked the second worst performing seamer across country cricket over the past few years because he's left arm, hits decent pace and tall, and now he's shredding sri lanka.
Haha this is a bit much.3fer and counting for josh hull. Maybe vibes based selections are the way? Picked the second worst performing seamer across country cricket over the past few years because he's left arm, hits decent pace and tall, and now he's shredding sri lanka.
Dravid probably did as well tbf.Probably ought to have that record by now tbh. I don't have the facts and figures in front of me but I'd be willing to bet he's shelled a two digit number over the years
Don’t want to get into a lengthy debate but I think calling these selections ‘vibes based’ probably makes it sound like a lot less thought goes into them than is the case.3fer and counting for josh hull. Not sure about that, think the main thing is that the calendar is absolutely chocker which has meant that some of the best players from teams like West Indies and Sri Lanka aren’t even trying to get into the Test team, and they don’t get enough time to adapt to the conditions compared to yesteryear when visiting teams would get at least 2 FC games against counties or a Lions selectThe question has to be asked ..
Has the gap closed between County and Test cricket? Almost every debutant England try have found it easy at Test level
I feel it's only got worse than this since.Probably ought to have that record by now tbh. I don't have the facts and figures in front of me but I'd be willing to bet he's shelled a two digit number over the years
