Idk why they did frequently even in recent Windies test series. Visitors didn't make a fuss out of it though. I am sure Aussies would have.
Punter was the first to call it out and Khawaja.
Stokes tried such tactics in India during the first test but Umpires didn't budge there. Then he stopped asking for it.
