It's Dravid but Miandad is highly underrated in this forum. A true ATG bat and this poll is close.
Yeah a real streetfighter with gears to his game. If Dravid was The Wall, then Miandad should have been called The Bur, annoying little prick that he was. I'll vote for Dravid only because Miandad was past his prime when I started watching cricket but elders in the family regarded him very highly indeed.

Dodgy home stuff of Miandad, where his record is significantly better than away. I believe there was a good 10 year stretch where he wasn't given lbw even once at home. And besides that, I also rate Dravid highly; quite close to Ponting.

I wouldn’t consider “anything before X year doesn’t count” to be any sort of relevant view on history, but thats just me.
Context, something you lack. It’s absolutely correct to say that players who played in a pre professional era when there were 2 maybe 3 competitive teams and played far fewer tests in far less diverse conditions have a higher bar compared to modern players.
