With Ashwin cause he’s older and played many more matches abroad, so Subz labels him a failure outside SC basis that. Jadeja has decent stats in Aus and SA, just a very small sample size

We all know that Subs just needs an excuse really..... His hatred towards Ashwin and Jadeja is borderline irrational.

I also don’t agree with his assessment of Ashwin(and Hobbs) especially, but on most of the things i kinda agree with Subz, especially Viv, Kohli, Tendulkar, Imran etc. Btw basis a recent comparison Subz rated Jadeja over Stokes, so progress!

I know, I also agree plenty with him, but there are certain players his criticism is most often irrational and they include Ashwin, Jadeja, Kallis, Ambrose and Lara.
On a separate note though, I was re-reading the Kensington crowd part in Sunny Days and I don't think that really was racist. Biased and very opinionated and way too harsh yes, but not sure if there is really a racist connotation. His treatment of Doshi and comment after Hookes death were worse.

I am biased against Kallis, so I’ll stay silent(although I admit I don’t mind that much of a difference between Ponting, Kallis and Sanga as bats). I’ll vote any of the absolute top tier ATGs in a primary disciple over Kallis. The irritation started when some morons started calling him Sachin+Zaheer where he is comfortably behind both in either discipline

Can't really complain then..... If I have a bias against any batter, it's probably a bit against Ponting.

Yeah fair enough here. I'm a big Kallis fan but he's clearly inferior to Tendulkar as a batsman and Zak as a bowler. People who advocate that are definitely over egging the pudding.
