They need someone at the top who can fling bat. A Dwayne Smith type. We get bogged down by our approach early on and fail to realize that dot ball buildup leads to rash shots and then not being in control. It’s just as important as hitting boundaries.
Brandon King played some domestic red-ball cricket this year, has a decent FC avg by Caribbean standards as well.

Someone needs to have a word in Alzarri's ear. For someone who's meant to be the leader of the attack, he's got to start thinking more about the conditions, where to bowl etc. because if Shamar and Seales outperform him he's not guaranteed a place in the XI.

Brandon King: fro some strange reason, he’s not considered for our test team. It’s mind boggling.

Alzarri: he’s been playing at the test level for close to 7 years and still hasn’t learned anything.

Yes indeed

Would be great though if someone could organise a wager between @Adders and @CartyDurham with the loser to concede their avatar.
Late getting back to this. Not sure there's any point having a wager on our avatars when we're going for the same team? But mines due for an update anyway......just got to find something worthy of celebrating the career of the superstar that is Jimmy Anderson.

Joseph's test bowling numbers read like the Fidel Edward esque pacers WI had in the late 2000's. I like him but his performances stand out like a sore thumb when he's surrounded by S Joseph, seales, and roach. Mayers and holders are both all rounders and ide take both as pure bowlers in these conditions over alzarri.

Utter dross from Alzarri really. Seales has looked by far the best, funny how he's the only one with recent red ball cricket.

This is giving me memories of Corey Collymore, and Pedro Collins running, over after over after over to no effect. Fun times were had by all

Can't believe Brook has fallen for the same tactic nearly a year apart

This side still just fails to have the ruthlessness it needs. When your in and looking like you could score anything, do just that.

It's the most basic thing about test match batting.

This isn't good guys. Game is moving too fast. I've Day 4 tickets. Can we get Sibley and Compton to come back and bat time for a bit?
