I'm looking at it from the angle of "it should have been not out because they shouldn't have done it/they should have called him back"

which was everywhere, and ludicrous

Nah, we'd accepted it by the next Test, moved on and gave you a thrashing over the next 3.

The ball change, which actually was decisive and clearly a serious umpire error, was barely a blip in the media by any standard
