2nd semi-final: India vs England | Providence

Son Of Coco

Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
Given how Australia stepped up to save England from embarrassment by beating Scotland, England probably should do the right thing and let us take their place here.

It's what we'd do if we were in their position as we are, let's face it, the Salvation Army of cricket.

I am quietly confident but respect the Indian team tremendously. Hope it's flat and this game is a simple hit-athon.

Arshdeep has Bairstow, Curran and Livingstone as his Punjab Kings Teammates and so they will likely hammer him in this match.

Pitch will be anything but flat.

Likely to spin more and keep slow & low.

Shot making won't be easy.

India have a clear advantage in this regard.

International Captain
Jadeja's such a passenger in this side (even dropping catches now ffs), I'd much rather have had Ashwin as spinner instead.

Given that England team is staked with right handers and that the Guyana pitch can be quite spin friendly, Jadeja's bowling could be really handy here IMHO.
