2nd semi-final: India vs England | Providence

India definitely should win. Have dominated so far with Kohli doing zilch and having included liabilities like Dube and Jadeja. So with atleast former bound to fire sooner or later, should win against an England team which choked against SA

Nice work BCCI, oops I mean ICC
We'll definitely get a game. Every match people go, its gonna be a "washout".. but it's hardly turning out that way at all. So ofcourse there's gonna be a result, given there's 4 hours of extra time reserved for this game. So we probably not even gonna lose any overs this time.

Forecasts actually don't tell the whole picture. Unless some place has continuous rain for a whole day, there's often time between showers for play to happen!

On the contrary, India's batting is dependent on what we get in lottery with Rohit and Surya. Bowling bar Bumrah and Kuldeep is cod ordinary.

Hardik has looked hopeless with the ball when I've watched him this tourney. And Jadeja looks woefully out of rhythm.

Rohit has had his moment now, unfortunately way too early and now he's gonna revert to getting out cheaply like he does a million times in IPL. He needed to pull out this kind of innings in a knockout game. But he's done it in a game that didn't really matter to India.

Without Rohit replicating that in the finals, India's upper limit vs top opposition is 170-180 on a good day.

On a middling day, which is what it's likely to be, they'll set 165, with England chasing it down in 18 overs. Unless India does something about the deadweights in the lineup like Dube, Jadeja and Kohli.

The warning signs/the cracks are so evident. Certain few players are helping paper over these cracks. But come the big day against top opposition, these things are gonna be ruthlessly exposed. However the thick heads in the management don't have the foresight do a thing about it and so it will be their last game in charge as India will most likely crash out and a new more aggressive management will take over.
