What's the reasoning behind bowling Nortje out as opposed to giving Rabada only two at the end? Complete on-field improv or could they have discussed it beforehand?
Well noted. A lot of teams aren't deserving to be where they are...but that's the beauty of this game.WI are so appalling, no wonder they didn't qualify for the ODI WC last year. Whole innings couldn't lay bat on ball most of the time. Just wild swings. Same thing they did vs Eng. Definitely don't deserve to be in the SFs.
I wish they had a few batters who could bat sensibly and hit through the line rather than just slog.Well noted. A lot of aren't deserving to be where they are...but that's the beauty of this game.
You have some surprisingly caustic views on other teamsWI are so appalling, no wonder they didn't qualify for the ODI WC last year. Whole innings couldn't lay bat on ball most of the time. Just wild swings. Same thing they did vs Eng and vs NZ. Definitely don't deserve to be in the SFs.
Have to understand that the guys who are supposed to bat with calm heads got dismissed early. Roston Chase and Mayers rebuilded, which I am sure everyone agrees with is a difficult pitch. SA spinners were relentless, and we didn't have any proper batsman in the lower middle-order.I wish they had a few batters who could bat sensibly and hit through the line rather than just slog.
Not April FoolsShamsi reckons its a good pitch with odd balls turning
Sleeping on Thanos?Motie and Akeal key here. 8 overs from them could seal the deal really
Not just on other teams mate..You have some surprisingly caustic views on other teams
Yeah and Markram was great. He got 12 overs of spin in the innings. Didn't even use Rabada except last overs. Read the pitch really well.Have to understand that the guys who are supposed to bat with calm heads got dismissed early.
