West Indies have just qualified with their win over New Zealand

Qualified

Group 2: West Indies (C2) South Africa (D1)

Eliminated
Oman, Namibia

Up next, BAN vs NED. A win from either team will knock Sri Lanka out

It's not great when your hopes are relying on PNG to win, it would take a miracle for them to beat Afghanistan and keep our qualifying hopes alive.

SL eliminated by BAN win over NED.

Next up AFG vs PNG. If AFG win they qualify for Super 8, while knocking out PNG, NZ and UGA. If PNG win all these group C teams remain alive

Even then Pakistan can still qualify
Probably decided this afternoon - if USA beat Ireland then Pakistan are out. But if Ireland beat USA, then all 4 teams behind India still have a chance of joining them with Pakistan becoming the favourites to do so (would probably only have to beat Canada for their NRR to do the job).

I'm at a bit of a loss to all of this, but can someone let me know if there is a difference to what group Australia would be in if they lose to Scotland than if they won?

If you read the 1st post, the 8 seeded teams are locked into a Super 8 group regardless of where they finish in initial group. So Australia are already locked into Group 1

And we already know that Australia will play India on Monday June 24th (3.30pm UK).

More likely scenario seems a rainout taking US through. Flood warning in Florida so very unlikely we get a game.

And play Afghanistan the day before that on June 23rd. Not a lot of rest between games with 3 games in 4 days (as also play June 21)

Pakistan's NRR is better than USA. They have a very real chance of making it. USA could very well lose to Ireland.
