Molehill
Cricketer Of The Year
Frankel's Guineas was actually just a rubbish ride from Queally who couldn't hang onto him. When he actually rode him properly, I think the Queen Anne is the real defining performance. A fantastic Group 1 horse in Excelebration was totally destroyed that day.Id say it is the same as Frankel in his Guineas and Msster Minded in his first Champion Chase, a jaw dropping display that you need to watch again and again just to let it sink in.
I'm always slightly suspicious when a horse gets so far ahead early on (has happened in a couple of all weather races here recently), that the jockeys behind have just got it badly wrong.
Were they on similar ground?Saw the split screen of this and Winx and Pride of Jenni was 2 and 3/4 lengths ahead at end. 20+ lengths ahead at bend. Shows how good a performance it was and that it wasn't a fluke or a bad year and one decent horse.
