Yeah maybe another player would have made some difference, but there isn't anyone who would have "guaranteed" a different outcome, to use your word. As above, I get your general point, and don't even disagree with most of what you are saying. Were I in charge I would probably look to upgrade on Nketiah as well. But you're making it sound like you think the only reason Arsenal didn't win the league this season (assuming they don't) is Eddie Nketiah, which is patently false.

Not at all, would never pin it on one player. Just looking at areas which no doubt could do with strengthening....there are obviously others, but that seems the most glaring

Not sure where this narrative that City aren’t at there best has come from anyway. They’ll probably finish with more points than last season and that’s despite Arsenal not rolling over and having their belly tickled by them this year
I don't really have the numbers to hand but it feels like they were a far better side last year, winning the treble probably supports that case irrespective of the points tally - they were never pushed. As Molehill says, they just do what they need to.

They have kicked into gear over the last few weeks but I think even most City fans would admit they haven't looked themselves most this season.

That is the scary part.

Just realised that if Spurs manage to hold City to a draw tonight, rather than beat them (heh), and both Arsenal and City win on the final day of the season, it could come down to a goal difference/head-to-head tie breaker.

Would be great for the neutral I guess. But as someone with a vested interest the prospect of a final day of the season with this stipulation hanging over things fills me with dread. Would have a pit in my stomach all day.

Doesn't it go on goals scored after goal difference? In which case City will win it.

I'm hoping hard for a draw tonight because I'd enjoy an Arsenal title win but want Spurs out of the race for 4th.

Goal difference from what I read so if somehow Spurs were to draw tonight then Arsenal would have a 3 goal advantage going into the final day.

The "problem" for Arsenal is that Man City could quite easily put 6 or 7 past West Ham if they need to as West Ham are terrible.

Arsenal should beat Everton , but its unlikely to be a massacre, Everton have been decent enough recently.

The ultimate banter is Spurs winning tonight, Palace beating Villa and Spurs losing to Sheff United on Sunday and obviously Arsenal winning the league.

Fair enough. Does anyone other than Sevilla care about the Europa League? Our teams have always underperformed in it.
Man Utd, Chelsea both did as did Liverpool under Klopp and Arsenal under Emery. West Ham did well this season, Brighton tried their best etc

Tottenham are the only team that have acted like they were too mighty for it

how the **** did Spurs manage to sign 3 good centre halves in the last 3 years when teams like Chelsea and Man Utd barely sign 1 good one???

Spurs fan's have always looked down at the "lesser cups" over the years which is hilarious.
