It's embarrassing is what it is. I'm sure 99% of the crowd don't have strong inclinations towards the guy either way but it's become the thing to do if you want to appear a normal cricket fan in India. Willful suspension of self-dignity.

I just wonder how it will be after he officially retires from the game. It’s just insane that I have to watch these games on mute these days. I get it commentators…let’s get back to the actual game.

What a poor 3rd umpiring.. He was not actively trying to stop the throw, he was just turning/veering back in an arc.. You can't expect a batsman to 'make way' for a throw..

Very abjectly poor umpiring imho.
