Nohit Sharma is not even amongst the Top 20 run scorers this IPL despite opening the batting.. and his SR is not even among the Top 50 Strike-rates, yet he is somehow the guy who will captain India.

His IPL record (and also international T20 record) in the last few years is shocking to say the least -both as a batsman and captain. So the decision to bring him back let alone give the captaincy back to him has to go down as a huge blunder when they are far fitter, younger and destructive batsmen waiting in the wings.
