This test continues to follow the usual formula against Australia. I guess that means that NZ will have the better of the 2nd test, be on the verge of a famous, series-evening victory, only to be denied by a day five hurricane.

27 runs off the last 3 overs has really taken the shine of what was a good last hour. No idea what the weather will do this afternoon but can't afford to have the runs flowing like that

That lead of 317 might already be enough but the Aussies would probably want to add at least another hundred runs to put the game out of our reach.

There is still a chance we could bowl them out before that though.
