I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Interesting that I’ve not seen the SP prowling on the boundary at all yet. Plenty of sensible reasons for that, I guess, but can’t be ideal to have to hide one of your players from crowd interaction!
Just saw him signing mini bats on the boundary

The SP is on the boundary now and right in front of where I’m sitting. There are a dozen or so kids queuing for this signature. A morbid one for the collection though.

O'Rourke continues to impress, though he especially is guilty in those graphics showing how few balls NZ bowl that are hitting the stumps. Yes his role is to be a bounce bowler and he has the height and pace for it, but still needs to threaten to hit the pegs a little more than he does currently. Especially to the tail, like to Hazlewood yesterday. Currently easy to leave on length, not much uncertainty for the batter as to whether the ball will go over the stumps.

There's plenty still in the pitch for both the quicks and spinners here. Makes all the runs coughed up to Hazelwood yesterday and Lyon today all the more criminal.

Plus of course our woeful batting - make them work for their wickets ffs, don't give them freebies
