On the Williamson run out, would he have even made it without the collision? Reckless run to take under normal circumstances.

It was a needless risky single even without the collision, you could maybe understand it in a T20 or an ODI but not the first few overs of a test match,

Why take the risk? We threw away the wicket of our best batsman to try and score a lousy single.

It's hard enough for us to try to beat Australia without us just throwing our wickets away to them.

Despite batting NZ to the draw in that Kanpur test he was miscast at no.7, probably shouldn’t have been in the team then anyway. But yes, still a work in progress at this stage you’d think.
