Well those career averages are pretty impressive and NZ bats deep when your #10 and #11 average 22 and 16.Don't accuse me of Gambhiring....just explaining that numbers on Cricinfo don't always tell a full picture
Career averages for minnow teams like NZ, SL, Ban etc. are meaningless. They play so many lower level Tests against each other or in series no one cares about so the opposition dgaf. Need to multiply them by about 0.7 for an accurate numberWell those career averages are pretty impressive and NZ bats deep when your #10 and #11 average 22 and 16.
Haven't you heard that Australia's famed attack keeps failing to take the 10th wicket until lots of runs are scored so I can see the NZ tail making lots of runs

3. Williamson (55.12) - H average 70
4. Ravindra (46.42) - H average 40

And MASSIVELY overrates KJ's batting. Not much between Jamieson and Southee with the bat imo.Hurricane under-rates Rachin and Mitchell. Both are really good quality players and will come good in the aussie series.

Tbf, new Zealand have some of the friendliest home batting conditions going around right now, and Australian home pitches have been increasingly bowler friendly the past few years. Nz definitely still bat deeper, but I don't think thr averages fully reflect the gap. If you go by away averages in the past two years (fyi, not saying this is a good metric, just the only way I can think of handelling the homeComparing NZ batting averages to Australia. Excellent theory, pity it's wrong though. The last 32 test opponents of New Zealand (since Nov '19):Career averages for minnow teams like NZ, SL, Ban etc. are meaningless. He is not. 9 tests against a minnowExcellent theory, pity it's wrong though. The last 32 test opponents of New Zealand (since Nov '19):

None of them care when they play NZ mate. England, India against NZ are going through the motions, nothing like when they play each other or Australia when they go full oomph. South Africa are demonstrating how little they care right now sending a D side.Excellent theory, pity it's wrong though. The last 33 test opponents of New Zealand (since Nov '19):

this is beyond gambhiring. this is pure cowardice. you should be ashamed of yourself. hand in your citizenship.None of them care when they play NZ mate. Even this series Australia aren't going to go full tilt after the 12 months they've had. Don't get me wrong, NZ will still lose, but their players will perform a lot better on paper than they really are with the Aussies going half pace at them.

No way will an Aussie ever play half-hearted against a Kiwi side. You need to be banned from ANZAC Day if you don't get that lolNone of them care when they play NZ mate.
