***Official*** West Indies Championship 2024- Regional 4-day competition

There goes Doram for a duck, caught at fine-leg to a plan well set up by Young and executed perfectly by Johann Layne. That’s his 2nd wicket

Leewards 137/9 in the 54th

Pacers impressed on the first day of R1 matches. Ryan John with a 5-wicket haul for the Windwards...most impressive were the Academy's bowlers.

Jason Mohammed struck a century, unbeaten at stumps.

Guyana's bowlers, barring Permaul and Beaton were inefffective. One might say inexperienced also.

Ah right. BBC website has Guyana first which made me think they were at home.

Found the venue is Conaree cricket centre which tbh I don't know where that is. Presumably Trinidad.
Yep, I was boggled out by the venue. Why they choose this instead of the Queens Park Oval or even the Brian Lara Cricket Academy Ground. There’s another one in Diego Martin which previously hosted FC games.

Looking at the match from the stream, it looks like a 2nd division club ground.
