Pacers impressed on the first day of R1 matches. Ryan John with a 5-wicket haul for the Windwards...most impressive were the Academy's bowlers.

Guyana's bowlers, barring Permaul and Beaton were inefffective. One might say inexperienced also.

Found the venue is Conaree cricket centre which tbh I don't know where that is. Presumably Trinidad.

Yep, I was boggled out by the venue. Why they choose this instead of the Queens Park Oval or even the Brian Lara Cricket Academy Ground. There’s another one in Diego Martin which previously hosted FC games.
Looking at the match from the stream, it looks like a 2nd division club ground.

I have high hopes for Kevin Wickham. He was with the Academy team in the Super50 last season. The Bajans grabbed him this season.
