*Official* 2024 South Africa tour of New Zealand: 2 tests

Wow...twice between the 40th and 50th Kane has had enough and come down at the SA bowlers. Doesn't happen often

Massive, massive miss not catching that

That drop betrays this team being FC pros instead of the first choice team. SA historically take those opportunities.
In the last 5 years

Once reaching 50 Williamson scores

50-99 - 4 times
100-199 - 5 times
200+ - 5 times
Thanks for the jinx.

Weird coloured pitch (late, i know. I've just started watching)
I think it's led to the classic "away team sees greentop and decides to bowl without realising it's a road" trope.

Will be interesting to see if it starts to wear and take spin as the game goes on. I think South Africa might have erred by not playing a specialist spinner.

Yeah. But seems darker green but duller colour (hence probably drier) than the usual seamy road.

Maybe it's just my eyes getting used to the first nz test pitch of the season.
