I must admit this post had me going to check thrashings homepage . Taught you played them then realized you meant got beatings .Thrashings for both the TMOs and TNT today. Well done @ataraxia!
It felt like a similar experience!!I must admit this post had me going to check thrashings homepage . Taught you played them then realized you meant got beatings .
not South African or Zimbabwean .Picked up a decent bat today, happy to put him up $500K. If anyone is interested.
Unfortunately not... I only had one SA pick and the Englishman had an avg of 52....not South African or Zimbabwean .
Just wanted to thank you again , i figured out a lot with our friendlies . I am almost sure i wont stay up in div 1 dev however the balance seems good now . My middle order still have one question but other than that I'm good to go for the season . You were a big help thank you .Did not realise it was development... If you looking for a challenge in Dev, then TNT is you better option. I`ve accepted the requests anyway for TMOs!
But is it worth doing? Its not like TNT has poor bowling? Should I just hang onto my monies... or go for twin spin attack?!2.1 mill is still a reasonable enough price but the bidding could go way above that. Risky
I think firstly your highly undervaluing Lenon and Opperman , both are very close to Gambushe and currently on value of what i think he is worth at 2 Mil . Secondaries would have pushed him above .So I`m very tempted to try and get this man for TNT. Been saving up monies for another high quality bat so may have enough monies to grab him. It will turn TNT into a Wrist Spinning duo (in about 3/4 seasons!!) but will likely go broke.
I also could sell one or both of
Unsure right now. What do you guys think?
I like Opperman but he has not always performed like I would like. Lemon is pretty much treated as the 5th/6th bowling option.I think firstly your highly undervaluing Lenon and Opperman , both are very close to Gambushe and currently on value of what i think he is worth at 2 Mil . Both Lenon and Opperman has secondaries , Both can hold a bat and both have bowling characteristics . It comes down here if you prefer a new ball spinner , a reverse swinging fast medium (Opperman IMO is the best amongst these three by a long way ) or a high quality specialist wrist spinner .
Don't over extend , especially not at the cost of two really good bowlers .
Edit . Lenon might be at half what his value would've been without the Superstar trait so actually way less than the other 2 at around 800 to 900k
All good man , if it is a current need you can always pick up one of the below at a fraction of that price currently however already seniors and less seasons etc , pains me to say it as i want to try and snipe one of them .I like Opperman but he has not always performed like I would like. I just like wrist spinners.... But yeah don't need Gambushe better to wait for a high quality batsmen or allrounder. Thanks. Talked me off the ledge.
I'm a very harsh task master!!Also I'm unsure what you mean by Opperman underperformed . He is going to be your lead wicket taker of all time before he gets to 200 Matches .
He is going to be a king maker and t20 i had a reverse swinger and all rounder, one of my favorite players I've ever had . There was a clear difference between T20 and OD , in my case around 20% in performance. From the looks of it this is almost more amplified for Opperman as he is a better bowler but still very good in both and still 2 or 3 seasons away from peak .
That other decent Wrist spinner is being eyed by TMOs.... at this stage TNT only eyes players up to 20 years of age.All good man , if it is a current need you can always pick up one of the below at a fraction of that price currently however already seniors and less seasons etc , pains me to say it as i want to try and snipe one of them .
There is also another decent wrist spinner on the market and variable others that hasn't been seen(Or interest in) by big money .
Market feels like it is all over the place... think any high quality player is going for exorbitant monies. The good to middling players, are getting some monies occasionally, but if they have any sort of downside people just not willing to spend the monies. Unless they make a huge difference stick with what you have and save monies for the big buy.Just a by note im shocked by the transfer market this end of season , there are top quality players passing by . On both ends of the spectrum , from rebuild youngsters to mid seniors for a run at a div 1 title .
Anyone else noted this ?
